Yes! We only book out a few of our tables, so please do feel free to walk in at any time. If you’d like to book for a larger group not available online, please make a booking enquiry via each site’s booking link & we’ll see if we can fit you in.


Can i book at all of your sites?

Cambridge Street is a walk in venue only, feel free to either book or walk in at Norfolk Row & The Sorting Office. If you'd like to book an outside table at Norfolk Row, please specify this in your booking special requests. We cannot guarantee a table inside in case of bad weather during your booking.


I need to cancel or change my booking - how do i do this?

You can cancel or edit your booking via the link in your booking confirmation email.


Are you dog friendly?

We love dogs! You’re welcome to bring your pooches inside all of our cafes.


Can we bring our little one?

Absolutely. We have high chairs and kids menus for the little ones!


Can you cater for allergies?

Yes. We do our very best to cater for all allergies and dietary requirements. We ask that guests inform us of any allergies, even if it is assumed that a dish is allergen free, so we can reduce any risks. Our working areas are small, so we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens or cross contamination.


do you make your food from scratch?

We are super proud that we make everything in house. All of our bread is baked at The Sorting Office on Ecclesall Road (come for lunch & watch them bake!). And all of our cakes, pies, quiches & more are made in our pastry kitchen, also at The Sorting Office, but they are a bit more hidden downstairs!


Can we bring our own cake?

We don’t allow non-Marms cake to be eaten on the premises, as our own cakes are so very good! Plus, we’d love to make a cake for your celebration! We offer totally bespoke cakes, or whole cakes (such as our Cheesecake, Banana Bread and more). Get in touch here, if you’d like more information about this.

Who is behind marmadukes?

We’re a family owned and run business (the Nye’s), who started from scratch in 2012 at our Norfolk Row site! We’re still proudly independent and still family run. Read more about us and our ethos here.
