Mindful movement for pelvic health:  Bringing what you desire for your body and what your body needs together.

  • Wish you understood your body better?

  • Struggling to tune out all the mixed messages about what you should be doing for your health?

  • Feel like your pelvic health has betrayed you?

  • Looking for a way to embody what you need for you & your body?

  • Want to learn to respond to the different needs of your body through your menstrual cycle, menopause, and much more?

Emily Elgar returns to the Sorting Office bringing her unique approach to pelvic health physiotherapy with a mindful movement practice that brings together Pilates based exercises, health coaching, and meditation. This session will help them unpick the aspects that are derailing your health, whilst learning how to read your body's needs that leave 6 week plans and quick fixes a thing of the past.

Years of work with people figuring out what went wrong with their health, Emily has bought together the key lessons from clinic that cause these conditions to derail our lives. So, if you're fed up of pelvic pain, nagged at by your prolapse, fearful of incontinence, or you simply just want to feel more connected to your body. Embodied mindful movement can help you overcome that feeling of hopelessness and frustration of not seeing the change in your health you want move you forwards with your body.

This 90 min session blends health coaching, visualisation, and movement together to create the space for you to experience a movement practice that changes with you then followed by time to enjoy delicious treats and cocktails from the Marmadukes team. Bring a yoga mat and block or cushion with you, or there will be some spares on request. Pregnancy friendly!
